Who are the Lamai?
Little was known of this fabled race until their massive resurgence in Regnum. Their name appears scrabbled in ancient tomes of wisdom and old broken statues are testament to their previous visits, but they had been absent from this world for millennia.
Now the Lamai are back in force, coming into Regnum through magic portals sprouting in all three realms. Their elders tell the tale of a peaceful realm in a pocket dimension, and a hasty relocation because of their growing numbers. However, their young whisper bitterly about an unspeakable evil that drove them out.
Unwilling to divulge any more, Lamai have adapted to life in Regnum, each swearing fealty to the realm they landed on. Their cuddly exterior hides the tough interior of a most versatile race, capable of excelling in any class they put their mind to. Whatever drove them out of their foster home must have been a powerful thing indeed…
