How to play
Connect 4 is a checker -stacking free online board game. The object of the game is to line up four checkers of the same color in any direction – horizontal, vertical, or diagonally. The first player to match four in a row wins!
Classic mode: Create a line of four same-color checkers horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to in the round
Power Chips mode: Smash! Block! Explode! Play with Power Chips to maximize your score and crush your opponent. This mode is for Registered players only.
Connect 4×4 mode: You get a double-layered board – get four in a row in any direction. This mode is for Club Pogo members only.
Ultimate Duel: Same rules as Connect 4×4, but you control TWO colors at once! Beat the Genius CPU to become the Connect 4 master! This mode is for Club Pogo members only.
Tips and Tricks
- Start by trying to connect many rows of 3s that way you only need your opponent to make 1 mistake and you win.
- You are definitely going to want to watch out for any 3 in a row pieces your opponent might have. Remember they can be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal so watch out.
- If you can try to set it up so that your opponent has to choose which connect 4 to stop. A good way to do this is to set up 3 in a row where there is a free space on either side.
- If you set up 2 critical points on top of each other the game is as good as yours. Because if they try to stop 1 you can just play your piece on tip of their and win.
