Realm of the Titans or RotT, is a new MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) styled action game published by Aeria games. It features top notch 3d graphics and fast paced gameplay, it can be downloaded and played for free online.
In RotT, you control a team of up to five heroes in a battle to control the game map against your opponent, each battlefield is different and offers varied changes in gameplay. As each team advances across the field of combat, they seize control points that spawn waves of NPC minions to assist them in the conflict. Players who perform well in battle are awarded points that can be used during the match to upgrade their hero’s powers and abilities. Teamwork and tactics are of crucial importance.
There are dozens of Heroes to choose from, each with special abilities and skills, divided into 3 base types: strength, agility and intelligence.
Realm of the Titans conforms to most MOBA standards (movements, controls, etc) and features the usual gameplay mechanics for those familiar with the genre, with a few fun surprises, it also has a guide and tutorial for new players.
The Key features are as follow, (we already mention them in our beta signup announcement, but here is a quick over view)
- Advanced matchmaking system – This will ensure played matches are as competitive as possible, by linking players with other players of similar skills and rank. Should a player leave early, a bot will quickly take his place, then disappear if that player reconnects.
- Detailed Game Stats & Rank – You can view detailed post-game statistics after every match, compare your total wins and losses, number of kills, assists, tower destructions, and whole bunch of other battle stats. You can also keep an eye on your overall rank. Complete achievements and defeat more highly ranked players to boost your rank. Losses reduce your rank. There are also hidden achievements and badges to be earned.
- Boss System – This feature can be a powerful strategy tool for your ultimate victory. Conquer enemy bosses to unleash your own bosses. Once unleashed, your bosses will push toward the enemy base and leave a trail of destruction in their wake!
- Replay, view edit and share your matches – Each game is fully recorded so you can highlight your glorious wins, or analyze what went wrong in your worst defeats. Best of all, you can store your favorite clips and share them with other players.
